WHY I DO THIS: I do this simply because I love everything about my job. As a Service Manager, I’m able to work with people often, program and repair their building systems, collaborate with my co-workers in the office, and continue to develop established relationships and build new ones. At the end of the day, I’m able to make something work that someone else couldn’t, and that’s an awesome feeling.

WHY I DO THIS: Growing up on a farm, I’ve been a hands-on person for as long as I can remember. Knowing that I wanted to work in a hands-on industry, I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in HVAC/R Engineering at Ferris State University and then spent 11 years at Cochrane Supply, where I became Regional Sales Leader. During my time at Cochrane, I built strong relationships with the team at Control Solutions. When the opportunity opened up at Control Solutions, I took it! I’m excited to be able to work with many of the same clients I’ve met at Cochrane in Service Sales.

WHY I DO THIS: I am new to the Building Automation industry, but as a 20-year IT veteran, it’s exciting to find a new challenge for taking this technology to the next level. With the birth of IoT, everything is connected, and the possibilities are endless. A company is a sum of its parts, and in our line of work, it’s people that make the difference.
